At 65, many expats in Spain are still talking about the big move they once made. Leaving the UK, Holland, Germany or France. Buying a house near the sea. Learning how Spanish bureaucracy works, at least enough to survive it. Finding a doctor, a “gestor”, a plumber who actually answers, a supermarket with the bread they like, a café where the waiter recognises them. By 70 or 75, the question is often different.
